Dearest Friends and soon to be Friends,

Just wanted you to know that I have been living in this paradise for now over four years.  I have had the honor of traveling throughout the world and meeting the most extraordinary people. People of every origin - of every race and after all of these extra ordinary adventures, I now call Kentucky my home.

I have spent over 6 years living abroad in the Dominican Republic, Japan, Nepal, Haiti, Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines and the Honduras. In the Dominican Republic,  I  began a full immersion English language school. In Haiti during and after the earthquake I supported the people with reconnecting with their families, some having not seen them for many years. In Uganda, I founded the not-for profit, Many World Stories, Inc. a creative writing program for youth, creating a curriculum that helped them to write their own stories of their lives and to share them with the youth in the next school. in the next country that I visited. The stories from Uganda were the first and the first of many stories that I could not comprehend,  that could not be believed until I stayed in this country for a while, and then I became accepting of them.

I have been a Grant Writer now for over 25 years which has enabled me to travel the world. I have traveled to these places with mind-fullness, and with love and with this I have found the peace and the serenity to live here in Kentucky.
